I
first
started
using
the

I
was

my
chosen
username.

I

shy
and
introverted
person,
it
was
difficult
for
me
to

However,

as
"ssy"

me

confidence
that
I
didn't
have
before.
I
found

easier
to
talk
to
people

a
screen
and
to
express
myself
in
a
way
that
I
couldn't
in
person. Through
my

I

who
shared
similar

and
hobbies.
I
joined
forums,
groups,
and
communities
that
revolved
around
gaming,
anime,
and
music.
As
I
interacted
with
others,

felt

I
had

before. What
surprised
me
the
most
was
that
my

friendships

into
real-life
relationships
too.
I
met

the

and
formed
connections
that

Some

my
closest
friends
today
are
people
I
met
online
through
my
ssy
username. As
I
reflect
back
on
my
journey,
I
realize
that
adding
"ssy"
to
my
username
was
more
than
just

quirky
addition.
It

me
